Taking the art world by storm as he pioneered color photography, Stephen Shore began documenting the process of art-making in Andy Warhol's Factory at the age of 17. After devoting years to the formal aspects of photography, Shore's focus turned from the structure of a photograph to the journey it takes its viewer on. Thus, Shore's images become a form of visual thinking.
